In Focus

Adrien B.

Adrien B.
Today in class we learned how to operate a camera in manual mode. Both pictures are in monochrome with a ISO of 400. The first picture was taken in front of the firehouse when all cars began to go through a stop light, to capture all the cars in movement I had to position myself to capture the movement, alter the focus, F-stop, and shutter speed to obtain the picture I wanted. It took three tries but on the third try I obtained the movement I wanted. The second picture was taken in the back if the firehouse, I noticed the "antique" feeling the light gave off so I took multiple shots of the light. I used multiple shutter speeds and F-stops. On the fourth try I realized I wanted to change the position I was shooting from and ended up shooting the side of the light.
Shooting in manual mode is so much more hands on than using the automatic mode on my camera. I have more control of the focus, shutter speed, ISO, F-stop, and so much more. I thought at first it would be difficult, I mean I'm only a beginner in photography but after a few fails and a lot of laughter I realize that shooting in manual mode can be and most likely will be second nature

Blurred Vision

How I see the world is blurred and in focus at the same time. To see through my eyes is like looking at this picture of me. Its blurred and in focus a controlled chaos so to speak.  So lets take this journey of viewing the world through my eyes

First Sight

This is the first picture I took, I love it because its a simple picture of nature at its finest, at least that's how I see it
